If you saw the pictures from my Warm Bodies set visit, you may have thought I looked pretty weird:
How to look like a zombie: My Warm Bodies set visit >>
Well, now I have the video to prove that everyone in this movie, with the exception of the lovely Teresa Palmer, looks a little gruesome.
Watch as I get transformed into a zombie and chat with the film’s stars Nicholas Hoult, Rob Corddry and Teresa about this funny, freaky film.
On the set of Warm Bodies
SheKnows correspondent Whitney English gets a zombie transformation on the set of Warm Bodies and chats with the cast about undying love.
Hoult plays the main character, R, a zombie with a heart. He’s not your typical brain-eating zombie. R enjoys music, and falls in love with Teresa’s character, Julie.
“It’s interesting,” Hoult told me. “The thing about R is he can’t communicate. His vocabulary is very thin so he has to communicate through records he plays or through physical things.”
As for Julie, R brings out a side of her she thought was long gone after the apocalypse.
“Julie, she's a tough girl,” said Teresa. “She meets this beautiful zombie, R, and he’s sweet and kind to her, and she connects with him.”
And while Corddry usually takes on humorous roles, he told me this one is a little more serious.
“If there is a comic relief in the movie, I’m it,” said Rob. “But it’s very much played real. [My character’s] not trying to be funny.”
