The Breakfast Club turns 30: Where are the stars now?

Molly Ringwald became the iconic American teen; her freckled visage even graced the cover of Time magazine in 1986. Now 47, Ringwald has had a busy career, appearing on the TV show, The Secret Life of the American Teenager. She's also had a great Broadway run, appearing in such shows as Enchanted April, Sweet Charity and Cabaret. In 2013, she released her jazz album, Except Sometimes, featuring original jazz tunes along with a cover of the Simple Minds hit, "Don't You (Forget About Me)," the theme song from The Breakfast Club. Ringwald dedicated the cover song to director, John Hughes, who died in 2009 from a heart attack.

Ally Sheedy as Allison Reynolds

Ally Sheedy, now 52, played the nerdy outcast, Allison, who had trouble fitting it with the popular kids. A strong actress, Sheedy has continued her acting career by appearing in award-winning indie films like High Art and Life During Wartime. She's also been a series regular on television shows, Kyle XY and Psych. On stage, she was the first biological female to play the transgendered rock star, Hedwig, in Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

Known for playing the good-looking jock of the group, Estevez is the son of actor, Martin Sheen, and the brother of "winning" actor, Charlie Sheen. After The Breakfast Club, Estevez continued his acting career with movies like St. Elmo's Fire and Young Guns. He then went behind the camera to direct the movies Wisdom and Men at Work. He's currently directing the film, The Public, starring Aubrey Plaza. Estevez currently lives in Malibu where he and his wife operate a small vineyard.

Judd Nelson as John Bender

Judd Nelson stunned audiences as the iconic bad boy who was abused by his father, despite his own privileged upbringing in real life. Now 55, Nelson's had a fruitful acting career, appearing in TV shows like Nikita and Fox's hit show, Empire, where he currently plays Billy Beretti. In addition to acting, Nelson has written four books that are all available on Kindle.

Anthony Michael Hall played the stereotypical nerd in The Breakfast Club, an image he had a hard time doing away with. He went on to try comedy, becoming the youngest cast member of Saturday Night Live in 1985. Now 46, the actor recently appeared in the film, Foxcatcher, with Steve Carell and can be seen in the upcoming film, Something About Her, later this year. When he's not acting, he performs with his band, Hall of Mirrors.
