Many of us are sad to see the last of the Hobbit films hit theaters, but we know the finale will lift up our souls as Bilbo (Martin Freeman) takes down the deadly dragon Smaug (voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch).

Johnny Depp as the Big Bad Wolf? Anna Kendrick as Cinderella? Meryl Streep as The Witch? This movie could have the best cast of the year. One thing that has us really excited is seeing The Good Wife's Christine Baranski as Cinderella's evil stepmother.

Oprah's Harpo Films brings us the powerful story of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. (David Oyelowo). Selma will no doubt be nominated for Best Picture and may even win if the performances are as strong as the story.
Selma fights for civil rights in a limited release on Christmas Day and expands on Jan. 9.
